Four Fast Interior Updates
Being at home all the time right now can start to feel a little repetitive. While it’s great to have a safe, clean place for you and your family to live, it’s also okay to want to make some updates while at home with time to do so. Here are four fast updates you can do for minimal money and time.
Swap out your artwork! Order new framed pieces that you’ve admired from afar (we know you have tons saved on Pinterest and Instagram). If shipping or pricing becomes an issue, order printable pieces on Etsy to print at home or pick up at a local print shop.
Hang Curtains (or replace with new styles). Curtains can truly bring a room together or create a refreshing new look. Not to mention the functionality that will help little ones sleep in a bit later (hopefully).
Paint cabinets in the kitchen or bathroom for a fun project that can involve older kiddos and adults. Remember to carefully tape off areas you don’t want painted and remove all items prior to beginning. Turn yellow-oak wood to crisp white, or sort-of-tan to a soothing grey or blue.
Rearrange furniture. For the cheapest way to update your interiors while staying home, rearrange your furniture! Swap pieces out from room to room, or distribute items into different spaces for an even bigger change. As a bonus, you’ll definitely get your workout in for the day.
However you choose to stay at home, we’re wishing you and yours all the best during these uncertain times.
